Chris Langstrand
I have over 40 years of experience, beginning in high school, when I took architecture and mechanical drawing during my freshman and sophomore years. Going into my junior and senior years of high school, I began going to trade school for carpentry and I also started an internship with a German Cabinet-maker. Once I graduated high school, I continued to work with the German Cabinet-maker for about five years, doing custom cabinetry on the North Shore of Long Island. Once he retired, I went to work for a custom cabinetry company, Divinci Designs, where we worked in Manhattan and Long Island for about another five years. During this time, I also worked with my brother, who had his own business. Together, we worked on houses on Long Island, where we added new floors and raised the roofing, as well as some interior design, such as flooring.
Around 30, I started my own business, Infinity Home Improvements, where I did interior designs, such as kitchens, bathrooms, and flooring. Around 2007, I moved to North Carolina, where I began a new business, Carolina Home Repair and Remodeling, where I continued doing interior designs and home extensions.
Not too long after that, my brother, who has been in Arizona since 1996, asked me to come out to Sedona, for help with remodeling a bathroom. Since that visit, I fell in love with Arizona, especially the Sedona mountains, and decided to move out here, and begin Langstrand Contracting.
